Servicing and restoration
Our in-house service centre has the capability to repair and service all models of pit stop wheel guns. A full service includes inspection and assessment of all components and NDT (non-destructive testing) of all major impact parts. A full quotation will be provided on inspection.
Our standard Service process:
- Visual inspection
- Strip and visual inspection
- Stripped and any coatings removed
- Standard service parts including gaskets, motor veins, main housing bearing and clutch spring
- All fixing and fasteners replaced with new
- Gun body, front housing and rear cover coated standard colour of choice.
Standard service £325.00 +vat per gun.
Modification and conversations
Whilst the majority of motorsport applications require wheel guns to be specifically handed/bias to allow for both left hand and right hand wheel nuts, there are some governing bodies in some series that allow only one gun for pit-stops. This necessitated a unhanded 50-50 wheel gun as the required specification. We are able to change the 'handing' of your existing to any of the three combinations.
